How does the autosync feature work?

Autosync functions by exposing both the Receiver and Transmitter to GPS/GNSS signals at mission start and optionally during the mission. Satellite acquisition typically occurs within 30 seconds of power-up, synchronizing the units' clocks automatically in the background during ROV preparation.

What power supply is recommended for the transmitter?

While the transmitter will operate with a low impedance 5V supply, a 9V or higher power supply is recommended. The power supply must be capable of handling burst currents to prevent dropout and erratic operation.

How accurate is the positioning over time?

With autosync enabled, the system maintains a slant range error accumulation of only 0.5m/hr, compared to 2m/hr in baseline operation. The system provides 0.1° resolution for both azimuth and elevation measurements.
